We are looking for volunteers to assist us in the development of our organization. As we are expanding quickly we have several positions available and would be excited to speak with you. All our position are volunteer positions, as the organization is a volunteer organization in its entirety. Acceptance of the joining Hero Services is subject to the voting board members of the organization.

The positions we currently have available are for individuals who would like to be a part of the development staff of Hero Services, and work at a higher level within the organization.

Event Planner—

Hero Services Volleyball Tournament

We are looking for an individual to be focused on the planing for our Hero Services Volleyball Tournament. We are looking for someone who can be self motivated with quality communication skills. An individual with experience with volleyball tournaments is disenable but not a hard requirement. Staff members of Hero Services would be willing to train any candidate that is willing to learn and be reliable.

Duties would include:
Task Management
Communicate through applications provided by Hero Services
Assist with the promotion of the tournament
Send and Respond to emails with potential Vendors/ Venue
Seek out and communicate with potential sponsors for the event
Assist with the development of brackets for the tournament
Be supportive of Hero Services and its mission as a whole

Event Planner —

Patriot’s Motorshow and Festival Event Planner

This position would a be our lead event planner for our 3rd Patriot’s Motorshow and Festival. This event has the potential of being one of our larger events this year and numerous Hero Services Members are involved with the development process. We would be excited to speak with the right individual who would be willing to work this event consistently and have it be their primary focus. This event may be scheduled in July but the event would benefit from having an individual focused n the development of the event throughout the year. Staff members of Hero Services would be willing to train any candidate that is willing to learn and be reliable.

asst producer-

The Hero’s Debrief

We are looking to further develop the production team for The Hero’s Debrief/ Hero Services productions. We are looking for someone to work closely with the host, guests, and production team of the podcast. The podcast is becoming a popular program within Hero Services, and we are looking a dedicated and passionate person to assist us.

Duties would include:
Set up and tear down of equipment for our studio time
Video and audio editing
upload and launch podcast on various different platforms
Communicate with team members of Hero Services
Seek out and communicate with guest’s
Schedule studio time, launch date, etc

Sponsorship Team member

We are looking for individuals with a sales background, or individuals who would be willing to sell our Sponsorship Packages. This would include calling various businesses, filling out necessary forms, an being able to describe the programs, and initiatives of Hero Services. Our Sponsorship team needs to be a cornerstone of the organization as we build the Hero Services Wellness Program, and fulfill the Hero Services Relief Fund.

Duties would include:
Communicate with Hero Services Director’s Committee
Connect with various local and non-local companies to sell sponsorship
obtain promotional materials for existing sponsors as it pertains to their sponsorship level
Ensure rintmaterials and signage our being aquired for new sponsors
Be familiar with Hero Services and its mission/ programs in an effort to sell sponsorship
Assist with the development of sponsorship levels
